The Rosso Levanto Marble Pencil Liner Trim is a slender honed marble finishing piece measuring 305 × 20 × 15mm and sold by the piece. Its narrow pencil profile is designed to give tiled surfaces a clean, deliberate endpoint, whether used to finish an exposed edge, frame a recessed niche or splashback, or introduce a slim dividing line between different tile formats.

Rosso Levanto is characterised by a rich burgundy-red ground with contrasting light veining, giving this trim more visual presence than a neutral stone while retaining a compact profile. The honed finish softens the surface sheen and makes it particularly effective where the aim is to introduce a controlled line of colour rather than a broad decorative border. It works well in bathrooms, kitchens and other interior wall schemes, including half-height tiling, feature panels and smaller architectural details.

For the closest material relationship, pair it with the Rosso Levanto Marble Tile Collection, available in several polished metro, square and rectangular formats. The difference between the honed trim and polished tiles can introduce a subtle change in surface texture while keeping the same underlying marble palette. For more decorative areas, the Rosso Levanto Marble Mini Mosaic offers a honed companion, while the Rosso Levanto Polished Diamond Mosaic, Rosso Levanto Marble Hexagon Mosaic and Rosso Levanto Borders can be used to introduce pattern or stronger contrast within niches, splashbacks and feature sections.

Choose this exact trim when the project needs a narrow but distinctive burgundy marble detail that can define an edge without visually dominating the main tile layout. As Rosso Levanto is a natural marble, colour, veining and tone will vary between pieces. Dry lay the trim with the selected tiles or mosaics before fixing so the natural variation and differences in finish can be assessed together. Sealing is required, and ongoing maintenance should use suitable pH-neutral, stone-safe products. Final cutting, placement and installation should be confirmed with an experienced natural-stone installer.

Yes! All our marble tiles and mosaics are suitable with underfloor heating.

All marble products are suitable for bathroom and shower use. Please seal the product upon installation.

Yes, we highly recommend dry laying your marble tiles before fixing them in place. Marble is a natural stone, and each tile is unique in its veining, tone, and pattern. Unlike man-made tiles, marble pieces are not identical, which is part of their beauty.

Dry laying means arranging all the tiles on the floor before applying adhesive, so you can:

  • Visualise the overall layout
  • Balance colour and pattern variations
  • Ensure the best placement of each tile

Skipping this step can lead to an uneven appearance, as tiles placed at random may clash in tone or pattern. Taking the time to dry lay ensures a more harmonious and professional finish.

Yes. All natural stone products, including marble, limestone, and onyx, require sealing to maintain their appearance and durability.

We recommend sealing the tiles after installation, once the adhesive is fully dry. This protects the marble from grout staining. After grouting, allow the grout to cure, then clean the tiles thoroughly and apply a final coat of stone sealer to protect both the tile and grout.

To keep your surfaces in top condition, reseal every 1–3 years, depending on usage and wear.

We recommend using the grout we supply. These Mapei products are specifically formulated for marble and high-end materials, ensuring the best finish and long-term performance.
We recommend using the adhesive listed below, which we supply. It is specifically suitable for marble, compatible with underfloor heating, and features a rapid setting time, essential, as the adhesive must be fully dry before sealing or grouting.
We recommend using a wet saw with a premium diamond blade.
We strongly advise that you do not book a tiler, plumber or tradespeople before your order arrives and we recommend you receive and check items from us before making any arrangements.
