We deliver natural stone products across the UK and can support international delivery where suitable for the product, destination and order size.
Because stone is heavy, fragile and often project-critical, delivery is handled differently depending on whether you are ordering samples, tiles, mosaics, slabs, vanity units, fabricated stone or accessories.
Most tile, mosaic and heavy stone orders are delivered by third-party kerbside pallet delivery.
For in-stock items, UK mainland delivery is typically 5–7 working days. Express delivery may be available on selected orders, typically within 1–3 working days. Delivery rates, timings and availability are confirmed at checkout or by the Starel team.
Pallet deliveries are made to the nearest safe and accessible point. Delivery vehicles may be large, and pallet trucks can only move across solid, level ground such as concrete, tarmac or paving.
Please tell us before delivery if your address has narrow roads, restricted access, gravel, steep slopes, steps, height restrictions, parking limitations or any other unloading issue.
A responsible person must be available to receive and check the delivery.
For local, London or project-specific deliveries, our team may be able to advise on the best delivery route depending on product type, order size and site access.
South London installation services may be available for selected projects only.
We can arrange delivery to your chosen fabricator, installer, contractor or project site where suitable. Please provide the full delivery address, contact name, phone number, unloading requirements and any access information before dispatch.
For slab and fabricated stone deliveries, it is especially important that your receiving party is prepared for the size, weight and handling requirements of the goods.
International delivery may be available depending on the product, order size and destination.
For international orders, we recommend contacting the team before placing an order so we can confirm feasibility, delivery method, estimated lead time, packaging requirements, documentation and any additional charges.
International customers should also check whether local import duties, taxes, customs clearance charges or destination fees apply.
Samples are usually sent separately from larger orders and may be delivered by parcel courier. Samples are intended to help you review tone, finish and general material character before committing to a larger order.
Natural stone varies from batch to batch, so a sample should be used as a guide rather than an exact match to future stock.
Slab deliveries are specialist deliveries. Depending on the order, slabs may be delivered using a flat-bed vehicle and A-frame handling. If your delivery requires a crane, HIAB or special unloading arrangement, please tell us before placing your order.
We strongly recommend viewing slabs in person at the Southampton Slab Gallery before shipment, particularly where tone, veining, movement and bookmatching are important.
Pre-order and made-to-order items are not held in immediate stock. Lead times are typically 6–12 weeks, although delays can happen due to production, transport, customs or wider logistics issues.
If your order contains both in-stock and pre-order products, we will usually dispatch once the full order is available. If you would like separate deliveries, please contact us before placing the order. Additional delivery charges may apply.
Please inspect your goods at the time of delivery. Check that the products are correct, the quantity is correct and there is no visible damage.
If you notice damage, shortages or any issue with the delivery, note this clearly on the proof of delivery and contact us as soon as possible, ideally on the delivery day and within 48 hours.
Please do not book installers, tilers, plumbers or tradespeople until your order has arrived and been checked.
In-stock items are typically delivered within 4–10 working days. Express delivery may be available on selected orders and is generally delivered within 1-3 working days.
