Calacatta Rosanoir Marble Slab 74266 is a 20mm polished natural marble slab measuring 132 × 273cm, characterised by a blush-cream background crossed by deep charcoal and near-black veining. Its combination of warmth and dark graphic movement makes it particularly suited to kitchen worktops, vanity tops, splashbacks, fireplace surrounds, shower walls and bespoke stone furniture where the marble should provide clear colour and contrast.

Calacatta Rosanoir Marble Slab 74266 is a full-scale natural marble surface for interiors where warm colour and dark graphic movement are intended to become part of the design. The polished slab measures 132 × 273cm, is 20mm thick and provides approximately 3.6m² of material. Starel describes Calacatta Rosanoir with a blush-cream background anchored by deep charcoal and near-black veining, creating a noticeably warmer and more dramatic alternative to classic white Calacatta marble.
What does Calacatta Rosanoir Marble help you achieve?
The main benefit is the ability to introduce warm natural colour and strong dark definition within one stone surface.
The blush and cream areas stop the marble from reading as predominantly dark, while the charcoal movement gives it enough contrast to become a focal material. Used at slab scale, that pattern remains visible as one composition rather than being repeatedly divided by tile joints.
Calacatta Rosanoir can help you:
– create a distinctive marble kitchen worktop
– fabricate a statement vanity top and splashback
– introduce dark natural movement to a fireplace surround
– create shower walls or selected feature panels
– produce bespoke dining, coffee or furniture tops
– build a blush, charcoal, cream and warm-wood material palette
It is especially relevant where the customer wants natural stone to contribute both colour and graphic structure rather than act simply as a neutral background.
Where does this marble slab work best?
Starel lists slab 74266 for fireplace surrounds, vanity tops and splashbacks, kitchen worktops and splashbacks, countertops, coffee and dining table tops, shower walls and shower trays, alongside other residential and commercial applications.
Kitchen worktops can make good use of the 273cm length, subject to the final measurements, cut-outs and joints. Where the pattern is especially important, the fabrication layout can be planned around the strongest areas of charcoal movement before cutting.
In bathrooms, Calacatta Rosanoir works particularly well around a vanity area, where white ceramics can connect with the pale background while oak or walnut furniture introduces further warmth. Larger shower-wall pieces allow the darker movement to remain more continuous.
Fireplace surrounds and feature panels are another strong application because the contrast between blush stone and dark veining becomes easier to appreciate across a vertical surface.
Final suitability depends on the exact slab, measurements, edge details, support, access and installation requirements. Starel’s bespoke slab-to-product service supports custom stone pieces and allows drawings and project information to be reviewed before fabrication.
Why choose this exact Calacatta Rosanoir slab?
The strongest reason is its balance between soft warm colour and deep noir veining.
Rosa Aurora, another pink marble currently carried by Starel, has softer pink tones and lighter veining. Calacatta Rosanoir takes a much stronger direction, using charcoal and near-black movement to create greater contrast across the blush-cream background.
The polished finish further defines that contrast and gives the marble a brighter, more reflective surface. Its 132 × 273cm format is relatively long and narrow, which may suit worktop runs, vanity pieces and vertical panels where useful length matters more than maximum slab width.
Starel also confirms that this stone lets some light through. This may create possibilities for selected illuminated details, although any backlighting should be designed around the actual translucent areas, stone support, fabrication and lighting build-up rather than assumed from the material name alone.
Cut samples are unavailable for slabs, so full-scale selection is particularly useful where vein placement matters. Starel recommends visiting the slab showroom or using photographs, video and virtual assistance where an in-person visit is not practical.
Which Starel Stones products complement it?
There is no confirmed Calacatta Rosanoir tile family, so surrounding products should be treated as complementary rather than exact matches.
For a softer supporting surface, Rosa Aurora Marble XL Slab Tile 1200 × 600 × 20mm Polished is a strong option. Starel describes Rosa Aurora through soft pink tones and light veining, which can carry the blush direction into adjoining walls or floors without competing with Rosanoir’s darker movement.
For a more expressive scheme, Calacatta Viola Arabescato Marble Tiles provide a rosé-toned marble direction with stronger purple movement and are currently offered in several honed formats. This works best where the project intentionally layers related coloured stones rather than seeking a close match.
Calacatta Viola Marble Tiles offer another option where burgundy and violet tones are desirable across supporting floors or walls.
Where Calacatta Rosanoir should remain the clear focal point, warm oak or walnut furniture and quieter pale surfaces may be preferable to introducing another strongly patterned marble.
Slab selection, fabrication and care
Calacatta Rosanoir should be fabricated around the actual selected slab. Pattern placement, component positions, cut-outs, joints and edge profiles should all be resolved before cutting. Starel’s bespoke quotation process supports this with project drawings and specification information.
As natural marble, sealing should be confirmed for the intended application. Routine cleaning should use pH-neutral, stone-safe products and avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners.
Calacatta Rosanoir Marble Slab 74266 is ultimately suited to projects where natural stone should combine warmth with graphic contrast: a polished blush, cream and charcoal marble capable of defining worktops, vanity areas, shower walls, fireplaces and bespoke interior pieces.

Starel Stones can arrange UK slab delivery for marble, quartz, travertine and onyx slabs, including delivery to your home, project site, fabricator or installer of choice.
Slabs are specialist products. They are large, heavy and often selected for a specific face, vein movement, colour tone or fabrication requirement. For this reason, slab delivery is handled separately from standard tile and sample orders.
Before dispatch, our team will confirm the delivery address, site access, receiving contact and unloading requirements. Slabs may require specialist vehicles, A-frame transport or suitable unloading equipment depending on the material, slab size, quantity and destination. If your order is being delivered directly to a fabricator, installer or contractor, please provide their full delivery details before the order is released.
We strongly recommend that the receiving party is prepared for the delivery before the slab arrives. The site should have suitable access, enough space for safe unloading and an experienced person available to inspect and receive the material. Slabs should not be booked for fabrication or installation until they have been received, checked and approved.
For customers purchasing slabs for worktops, vanity tops, splashbacks, bath surrounds, feature walls or bespoke stonework, delivery can be coordinated around your project timeline where possible. Lead times may vary depending on stock availability, fabrication requirements, delivery location and the number of slabs being supplied.
If you are unsure whether your property, site or fabricator can receive slab delivery, speak to our team before placing your order.
Starel Stones can support international slab delivery for selected slab orders, subject to destination, order size, product availability and transport requirements.
International slab orders require careful planning. Natural stone slabs must be packed, handled and transported correctly to protect the material during long-distance freight. Depending on the destination and project scope, slabs may be supplied to private clients, interior designers, developers, contractors, fabricators or commercial project teams.
Before confirming an international slab order, our team will review the material, slab dimensions, quantity, destination country, delivery address, freight requirements and receiving arrangements. Where the slabs are being sent to a local fabricator or installation partner, we will need their full business details, contact information and unloading requirements.
International customers should allow for additional lead time, freight coordination, customs clearance and any duties, taxes or local charges that may apply in the destination country. These costs and responsibilities should be confirmed before the order is finalised.
For larger international projects, full-bundle or multi-slab supply may be available. This can be especially useful for designers, developers and trade professionals who need consistency across bathrooms, kitchens, hospitality spaces, feature walls or wider stone packages.
Starel Stones offers in-house fabrication options for customers who want a more complete stone service beyond slab supply. Our fabrication service is designed for projects that require precision cutting, finishing and made-to-measure stonework. This can include vanity tops, splashbacks, kitchen worktops, island tops, bath surrounds, shower walls, feature panels, table tops, shelves, niches, steps, risers and other bespoke stone details.
Working with our fabrication team allows you to move from material selection to finished stone element with greater clarity. Once the slab or material has been selected, we can review the intended use, dimensions, drawings, cut-outs, edge details, finish, access requirements and delivery destination. From there, we can prepare a quotation based on the material, fabrication complexity and project scope.
Fabrication is especially valuable when the stone needs to work across several parts of a room. A marble vanity top can be paired with a matching splashback. A slab selected for a kitchen island can be planned around vein direction, visible faces and edge treatment. A bathroom scheme can be developed with coordinated stone surfaces, from wall panels and bath surrounds to shelves and niche details. Each material is assessed according to its use. Marble offers natural veining and timeless movement, but requires careful sealing and maintenance. Quartz is a practical choice for high-use worktops and commercial surfaces. Travertine brings warmth, texture and architectural softness. Onyx is best treated as a feature material, often used for decorative panels, powder rooms, bars and backlit stone applications.
All fabrication work is quote-based. Final pricing depends on the selected slab, required cuts, measurements, edge profiles, cut-outs, polishing, finishing, handling and delivery. Production should only begin once the specification has been confirmed, the quote has been approved and any required payment terms have been met.
For accurate pricing, please provide drawings, measurements, site photographs, product references and any design requirements when submitting your enquiry. Where needed, our team can advise on the most suitable material, finish and fabrication route for your project.
If you already have a fabricator, Starel can supply slabs directly to them. If you would like Starel to handle fabrication, our team can guide you through the next steps and prepare a tailored quote.
