The Aegean White Marble Long Herringbone Mosaic is a honed natural marble mosaic designed to create a more elongated, flowing interpretation of the classic herringbone pattern. Its longer proportions give walls and floors a stronger sense of direction while Aegean White’s pale stone palette keeps the overall surface calm and adaptable. Use it across bathroom floors, shower areas, splashbacks, niches and feature walls, then pair with Aegean White field tiles for quieter adjoining surfaces or compare with Slim and standard Herringbone mosaics where a different pattern scale is preferred. Natural variation should be expected; sealing is required.

The Aegean White Marble Long Herringbone Mosaic is a honed natural marble mosaic for customers who want the movement of herringbone with a more elongated, linear character. Rather than using shorter pieces to create a compact zig-zag pattern, the Long Herringbone format stretches the geometry, producing a more flowing surface that can visually lead the eye across a wall or floor.

Aegean White keeps the overall palette light, while the natural marble introduces subtle variation in tone and movement. The result is a patterned surface that feels considered without relying on strong colour contrast.

Aegean White marble requires sealing and should be maintained with pH-neutral, stone-safe products. Dry lay the mosaic before fixing so the natural variation, sheet alignment and herringbone direction can be reviewed together.

Yes! All our marble tiles and mosaics are suitable with underfloor heating.

All marble products are suitable for bathroom and shower use. Please seal the product upon installation.

Yes, we highly recommend dry laying your marble tiles before fixing them in place. Marble is a natural stone, and each tile is unique in its veining, tone, and pattern. Unlike man-made tiles, marble pieces are not identical, which is part of their beauty.

Dry laying means arranging all the tiles on the floor before applying adhesive, so you can:

  • Visualise the overall layout
  • Balance colour and pattern variations
  • Ensure the best placement of each tile

Skipping this step can lead to an uneven appearance, as tiles placed at random may clash in tone or pattern. Taking the time to dry lay ensures a more harmonious and professional finish.

Yes. All natural stone products, including marble, limestone, and onyx, require sealing to maintain their appearance and durability.

We recommend sealing the tiles after installation, once the adhesive is fully dry. This protects the marble from grout staining. After grouting, allow the grout to cure, then clean the tiles thoroughly and apply a final coat of stone sealer to protect both the tile and grout.

To keep your surfaces in top condition, reseal every 1–3 years, depending on usage and wear.

We recommend using the grout we supply. These Mapei products are specifically formulated for marble and high-end materials, ensuring the best finish and long-term performance.
We recommend using the adhesive listed below, which we supply. It is specifically suitable for marble, compatible with underfloor heating, and features a rapid setting time, essential, as the adhesive must be fully dry before sealing or grouting.
We recommend using a wet saw with a premium diamond blade.
We strongly advise that you do not book a tiler, plumber or tradespeople before your order arrives and we recommend you receive and check items from us before making any arrangements.
