Mint Green Marble Dado Moulding. Featuring a soft, pastel green hue interlaced with subtle, organic veining, this premium natural stone trim provides the perfect finishing touch to any tiling project
The Mint Green Marble Dado Moulding is a 305 × 40 × 15 mm honed natural marble trim designed to give tiled walls a defined architectural finish. Its raised, moulded profile creates a decorative horizontal line that can be used to cap half-height tiling, separate adjoining wall finishes or introduce a considered border within a bathroom, kitchen splashback or other interior wall scheme.
The soft green colouring and pale natural movement bring subtle material character to the design, while the honed finish gives the marble a smooth, low-sheen appearance. Choose this dado moulding where a flat tile edge or slim pencil liner would feel too minimal and a more pronounced decorative detail is required.
HOW TO USE IT
The moulding can be positioned above a run of half-height tiles, between different tile formats or as a feature line within a planned wall layout. Its 40 mm face gives it greater visual presence than a narrow pencil liner, making it particularly suitable for schemes that call for a more architectural or traditionally detailed finish.
Final placement, corners, returns and cuts should be planned with the installer before fixing.
COORDINATING PRODUCTS
For a coordinated, stone-led scheme, pair the dado moulding with the honed Mint Green Marble Tile Collection. The collection includes metro, square and rectangular tile formats, allowing the moulding to be incorporated into a range of wall layouts.
Use the Mint Green Marble Pencil Liner Trim where a slimmer edge or dividing line is needed, and the Mint Green Marble Skirting to continue the same material character at the base of the wall.
NATURAL MARBLE CHARACTER
As this product is made from natural marble, colour, veining, tone and movement will vary between individual pieces. This variation is part of the stone’s character rather than a defect.
Product imagery provides a guide to the marble’s overall appearance but cannot represent every piece exactly. Where possible, compare and arrange the mouldings with the coordinating tiles before installation to create a balanced layout.
ORDERING AND INSTALLATION
Each moulding is 305 mm long and provides approximately 0.305 linear metres of coverage before joints, cuts and wastage are considered. Use the linear calculator as a starting point and include an appropriate allowance for corners, cutting and installation requirements.
The moulding has a 15 mm profile depth, while the coordinating Mint Green tile formats are listed at 10 mm thick. The resulting projection, adhesive build-up and junction details should be confirmed with the installer before ordering. Professional cutting and installation are recommended.
CARE
Marble may require sealing depending on the application and installation system. Confirm the appropriate treatment with the installer or sealer manufacturer. For routine cleaning, use pH-neutral products specifically formulated for natural stone.
Yes! All our marble tiles and mosaics are suitable with underfloor heating.
Yes, we highly recommend dry laying your marble tiles before fixing them in place. Marble is a natural stone, and each tile is unique in its veining, tone, and pattern. Unlike man-made tiles, marble pieces are not identical, which is part of their beauty.
Dry laying means arranging all the tiles on the floor before applying adhesive, so you can:
Skipping this step can lead to an uneven appearance, as tiles placed at random may clash in tone or pattern. Taking the time to dry lay ensures a more harmonious and professional finish.
Yes. All natural stone products, including marble, limestone, and onyx, require sealing to maintain their appearance and durability.
We recommend sealing the tiles after installation, once the adhesive is fully dry. This protects the marble from grout staining. After grouting, allow the grout to cure, then clean the tiles thoroughly and apply a final coat of stone sealer to protect both the tile and grout.
To keep your surfaces in top condition, reseal every 1–3 years, depending on usage and wear.
