The Arabescato Mix Marble Window Mosaic is a 305 × 305mm honed natural marble mosaic combining Arabescato Viola, Arabescato Amazon and Calacatta Gold in a structured window-style pattern. Its mix of rosé, green and warm gold-toned stone creates built-in contrast, while the framed geometry gives the surface a clear architectural rhythm. Use it across bathroom floors, shower areas, splashbacks, niches, cloakrooms and feature walls, then pair with quieter Calacatta, Viola or Amazon field tiles on adjoining surfaces to let the mosaic remain the focal point. Suitable for interior walls and floors; sealing and dry laying are recommended.
The Arabescato Mix Marble Window Mosaic is a honed natural marble mosaic for customers who want several expressive stone colours brought together within one structured surface. Supplied on 305 × 305 × 10mm sheets, with 100 × 100mm window-pattern units, it combines Arabescato Viola, Arabescato Amazon and Calacatta Gold in a repeating framed arrangement.
The result is more layered than a single-stone mosaic and more architectural than an irregular mixed-marble surface. The window geometry gives the pattern order, while the three marble families introduce rosé, green and warm gold-toned movement within the same composition.
What does the Arabescato Mix Window Mosaic help you achieve?
The main benefit is multi-stone contrast within a controlled geometric pattern.
Each marble contributes a different colour direction. Arabescato Viola brings deeper rosé and violet character, Arabescato Amazon introduces green movement, and Calacatta Gold adds a lighter, warmer note. Together, they create a surface that can connect several materials elsewhere in the room rather than forcing the scheme to follow a single marble colour.
The window pattern keeps that variation structured. Instead of the different stones appearing random, the framed repeat gives the installation a consistent rhythm.
This makes the mosaic particularly useful where you want a feature surface to feel expressive but still considered and architectural.
Where does this mosaic work best?
The product is suited to interior walls and floors and is particularly effective in bathrooms, kitchens and smaller feature-led spaces.
In bathrooms, it can work across floors, selected shower areas, vanity backdrops and niches. Because the mosaic already contains several strong stone colours, it is often most effective when adjoining surfaces are quieter.
In kitchens, it can create a distinctive splashback or selected wall feature where the mosaic can connect pale cabinetry with warmer or greener stone elsewhere in the scheme.
It can also work particularly well in cloakrooms, entrance areas and feature panels, where a smaller surface can support more colour and pattern without making the entire room feel busy.
Why choose this exact mixed-marble mosaic?
Choose this product when you want more colour complexity than a single-stone Window Mosaic.
The standard Mix Marble Window Mosaic is multicolour, but this product has a clearly defined material story: Arabescato Viola, Arabescato Amazon and Calacatta Gold. That makes it easier to build a wider scheme around specific stone families.
The honed finish also keeps the surface relatively restrained. Rather than adding gloss on top of an already complex material mix, the lower-sheen finish allows colour, pattern and natural variation to remain the focus.
Because all three materials are natural marble, variation in tone, veining and colour balance should be expected. Samples are guides rather than exact matches, and dry laying is strongly recommended so the mix and pattern can be reviewed before fixing.
Which Starel Stones products complement it?
The strongest companion products come from the three stone families already used in the mosaic.
For the greener side of the palette, the Arabescato Amazon Marble Tile Collection provides honed field tiles for adjoining walls or floors. Starel also offers the Arabescato Amazon Mixed Window Marble Mosaic where a more concentrated green-led window pattern is preferred.
For the rosé and violet direction, Calacatta Viola Arabescato Marble Tiles can provide broader, quieter surfaces while allowing the mixed mosaic to remain the feature.
For a lighter warm companion, Calacatta Gold / Calacatta Amber marble tiles and mosaics can reinforce the gold-toned element within the mix without repeating the full multicolour pattern.
The Mix Marble Window Mosaic is also a useful comparison where the customer likes the framed geometry but wants a different multicolour composition.
These products should be treated as complementary natural stones rather than guaranteed exact matches.
Before ordering and installation
Use stone-compatible adhesive, grout and pH-neutral, stone-safe cleaning products. Sealing is recommended for natural marble.
Dry lay the sheets before fixing so the distribution of Viola, Amazon and Calacatta Gold can be reviewed together with sheet joins and window alignment. For floors, showers and wet areas, confirm the complete installation system, including substrate preparation, waterproofing where required, fixing products, grout and sealing.
Yes! All our marble tiles and mosaics are suitable with underfloor heating.
Yes, we highly recommend dry laying your marble tiles before fixing them in place. Marble is a natural stone, and each tile is unique in its veining, tone, and pattern. Unlike man-made tiles, marble pieces are not identical, which is part of their beauty.
Dry laying means arranging all the tiles on the floor before applying adhesive, so you can:
Skipping this step can lead to an uneven appearance, as tiles placed at random may clash in tone or pattern. Taking the time to dry lay ensures a more harmonious and professional finish.
Yes. All natural stone products, including marble, limestone, and onyx, require sealing to maintain their appearance and durability.
We recommend sealing the tiles after installation, once the adhesive is fully dry. This protects the marble from grout staining. After grouting, allow the grout to cure, then clean the tiles thoroughly and apply a final coat of stone sealer to protect both the tile and grout.
To keep your surfaces in top condition, reseal every 1–3 years, depending on usage and wear.
