The Calacatta Verde White Marble Tile Collection is a large-format honed natural marble surface for creating light, expressive walls and floors with a white background and green natural movement. The 806 × 403 × 10mm format gives each tile more space to show the character of the stone while reducing grout joints compared with smaller field tiles. It is particularly well suited to bathrooms, kitchens and wider interiors where the marble is intended to become part of the design. Pair with Calacatta Verde border mosaics for decorative detailing or extend the palette into bespoke surfaces with Calacatta Verde marble slabs. Suitable for underfloor heating; sealing is required.

The Calacatta Verde White Marble Tile Collection is a natural marble surface for customers who want a pale stone palette with stronger green-led movement and a larger-format layout. Offered in a single 806 × 403 × 10mm honed format, the collection combines a white background with natural green variation to create a surface that feels light but still has clear material character.

The generous rectangular format gives each tile more space to display its individual veining and tone, while reducing the number of grout joints across larger walls and floors.

What can you achieve with Calacatta Verde White?

This collection is particularly useful where the aim is to create a more continuous natural-stone surface without moving into a full slab format.

The 806 × 403mm size gives the marble room to read across broader sections of the installation, making its green-and-white movement more visible than it would be in a small metro or mosaic tile. Fewer joints also create a calmer overall layout and allow the stone itself to remain the main visual feature.

The honed finish keeps surface reflection relatively restrained, which helps the natural colour and veining remain the focus rather than surface shine.

Where does Calacatta Verde White work best?

The collection is suitable for interior walls and floors, including bathrooms and kitchens, and is compatible with underfloor heating.

In bathrooms, the larger format can work particularly well across shower walls, bath surrounds, vanity backdrops and floors where fewer grout joints are preferred. The white background keeps the scheme light, while the green movement introduces colour without relying on a separate decorative material.

In kitchens, Calacatta Verde White can be used across floors or selected wall areas and can provide a natural connection to wood cabinetry, pale joinery or darker metal finishes.

The tile can also work effectively in hallways, cloakrooms and living spaces where a broader marble surface is wanted and the stone is intended to contribute visible pattern and colour.

Why choose this exact marble tile collection?

Calacatta Verde White is a strong choice when the project calls for the lightness of pale marble combined with a more distinctive green natural palette.

Its single 806 × 403mm format is central to its appeal. Rather than offering multiple small sizes, the product is focused on creating larger, calmer tiled surfaces with fewer interruptions. This makes it particularly suitable for customers who want more visual continuity than a standard small-format tile can provide.

The honed finish gives the marble a softer, lower-reflection appearance and works well in schemes where the material should feel natural rather than highly polished.

Because this is natural marble, every tile will vary in tone, veining and movement. A sample is useful for understanding the general colour direction, but it cannot represent the full variation within an order. Dry laying before fixing allows the installer to review the individual pieces and distribute stronger and quieter areas across the finished surface.

Which Starel Stones products complement Calacatta Verde White?

For smaller-scale decorative detailing, the Calacatta Verde Green Marble Border Mosaic is one of the strongest same-family pairings. Its honed green-and-white marble format can introduce a controlled border or feature detail without changing the broader colour direction.

Starel also carries mixed products such as the Calacatta and Verde Marble Rivet Mosaic and Calacatta and Verde Shield Fan Mosaic, which can introduce more pattern within niches, splashbacks or selected decorative areas.

Where larger uninterrupted surfaces are required, Calacatta Verde marble slabs can extend the palette into suitable vanity tops, splashbacks, worktops, fireplaces, feature panels and bespoke stone details through Starel Atelier and fabrication support.

These products should be treated as complementary natural stone rather than guaranteed exact matches. Differences in block selection, veining and finish will affect how each surface appears.

Before ordering and installation

Calacatta Verde White marble requires sealing. Use stone-compatible adhesive, grout and pH-neutral cleaning products, and confirm the installation requirements for the exact surface and application.

Order a sample as a guide and dry lay the tiles before fixing. For floors and wet areas, confirm suitability as part of the full installation system, including substrate preparation, sealing and final finish.

Yes! All our marble tiles and mosaics are suitable with underfloor heating.

All marble products are suitable for bathroom and shower use. Please seal the product upon installation.

Yes, we highly recommend dry laying your marble tiles before fixing them in place. Marble is a natural stone, and each tile is unique in its veining, tone, and pattern. Unlike man-made tiles, marble pieces are not identical, which is part of their beauty.

Dry laying means arranging all the tiles on the floor before applying adhesive, so you can:

  • Visualise the overall layout
  • Balance colour and pattern variations
  • Ensure the best placement of each tile

Skipping this step can lead to an uneven appearance, as tiles placed at random may clash in tone or pattern. Taking the time to dry lay ensures a more harmonious and professional finish.

Yes. All natural stone products, including marble, limestone, and onyx, require sealing to maintain their appearance and durability.

We recommend sealing the tiles after installation, once the adhesive is fully dry. This protects the marble from grout staining. After grouting, allow the grout to cure, then clean the tiles thoroughly and apply a final coat of stone sealer to protect both the tile and grout.

To keep your surfaces in top condition, reseal every 1–3 years, depending on usage and wear.

We recommend using the grout we supply. These Mapei products are specifically formulated for marble and high-end materials, ensuring the best finish and long-term performance.
We recommend using the adhesive listed below, which we supply. It is specifically suitable for marble, compatible with underfloor heating, and features a rapid setting time, essential, as the adhesive must be fully dry before sealing or grouting.
We recommend using a wet saw with a premium diamond blade.
We strongly advise that you do not book a tiler, plumber or tradespeople before your order arrives and we recommend you receive and check items from us before making any arrangements.
