The Arabescato Gold Marble Tile Collection is a versatile natural marble range for customers who want a light stone palette with warmer, more expressive movement. Its pale marble background is crossed by amber, gold and grey veining, giving the material greater warmth than a conventional white-and-grey marble while remaining adaptable to a wide range of interior schemes.
The collection spans multiple 10mm formats, including 150 × 75mm, 200 × 200mm, 305 × 75mm, 305 × 100mm, 305 × 305mm, 610 × 305mm and 610 × 610mm options. Most are honed, with a matte 610 × 305mm format also available. This breadth gives you control over both the scale of the marble and the rhythm of the finished layout.
What can you achieve with Arabescato Gold marble tiles?
The main benefit of the collection is its ability to carry one natural-stone palette across several surfaces without making every area look identical.
Smaller metro formats such as 150 × 75mm and 305 × 75mm introduce more grout lines and a stronger linear rhythm, making them particularly useful for splashbacks, shower walls, niches or smaller feature areas. Square formats such as 200 × 200mm and 305 × 305mm create a more balanced geometric layout, while 610 × 305mm and 610 × 610mm tiles reduce the number of joints and allow more of the marble’s natural movement to be appreciated across each piece.
Different formats can therefore be used to define adjoining areas while retaining a consistent material direction.
Where does Arabescato Gold work best?
The collection is suitable for interior walls and floors, including bathrooms and kitchens, and can be used with underfloor heating.
In bathrooms, Arabescato Gold can work across floors, shower walls, bath surrounds or feature sections. Its warmer veining pairs naturally with oak, walnut, brushed metal finishes and quieter neutral surfaces, making it useful for schemes where marble needs to feel warm rather than stark.
In kitchens, the tiles can be used across floors or wall areas and can help connect cabinetry with a marble worktop, splashback or furniture piece elsewhere in the room. Larger formats are particularly useful where a calmer surface and fewer joints are preferred, while metro tiles provide more pattern and definition in smaller areas.
Why choose this exact marble tile collection?
Arabescato Gold stands out because it combines a pale marble base with noticeably warmer natural movement. The amber and gold tones give the stone its own identity while still allowing it to coordinate with many of the woods, metals and neutral finishes commonly used in kitchens and bathrooms.
The number of available formats is another advantage. Rather than changing material when a different scale is required, you can adapt Arabescato Gold to the surface itself.
Because this is natural marble, colour, veining and movement will vary between tiles. Samples are useful for understanding the general character but cannot represent every piece within an order. Dry laying before installation allows stronger and quieter tiles to be distributed across the surface in a considered way.
Which Starel Stones products complement Arabescato Gold?
For a more dimensional wall treatment, the Arabescato Gold Curved Flutes Marble Tile Collection can introduce relief and shadow while keeping the same material family.
At the base of tiled walls, Arabescato Gold Marble Skirting provides a coordinated finishing detail and helps create a more resolved transition between wall and floor.
For projects that extend beyond standard tiles, Starel also carries Arabescato Gold marble slabs, including polished options. These can be considered for suitable vanity tops, splashbacks, worktops, fireplaces, feature panels or bespoke furniture pieces through Starel Atelier and fabrication support. Using slabs alongside tiles allows the same stone direction to continue across larger uninterrupted surfaces.
These products should be treated as coordinated rather than guaranteed identical. Natural variation, slab selection and differences between honed, matte and polished finishes will affect how each surface appears.
Before ordering and installation
Arabescato Gold marble requires sealing. Use stone-compatible adhesive, grout and pH-neutral cleaning products, and confirm the installation requirements for the exact tile format, finish and application.
For floors and wet areas, suitability should be considered as part of the complete installation system. Order a sample as a guide, allow for natural variation and dry lay the tiles before fixing to achieve a balanced finished surface.
Yes! All our marble tiles and mosaics are suitable with underfloor heating.
Yes, we highly recommend dry laying your marble tiles before fixing them in place. Marble is a natural stone, and each tile is unique in its veining, tone, and pattern. Unlike man-made tiles, marble pieces are not identical, which is part of their beauty.
Dry laying means arranging all the tiles on the floor before applying adhesive, so you can:
Skipping this step can lead to an uneven appearance, as tiles placed at random may clash in tone or pattern. Taking the time to dry lay ensures a more harmonious and professional finish.
Yes. All natural stone products, including marble, limestone, and onyx, require sealing to maintain their appearance and durability.
We recommend sealing the tiles after installation, once the adhesive is fully dry. This protects the marble from grout staining. After grouting, allow the grout to cure, then clean the tiles thoroughly and apply a final coat of stone sealer to protect both the tile and grout.
To keep your surfaces in top condition, reseal every 1–3 years, depending on usage and wear.
