The White Dolomite Marble Tile Collection is a 305 × 305mm honed natural marble tile for creating light, calm walls and floors with a crisp white base and soft grey veining. Its square format gives bathrooms, kitchens, hallways and wider interiors a balanced, regular layout while allowing the natural variation of the stone to remain visible. Pair with White Dolomite Clover or Leaf mosaics for smaller-scale pattern, or move into White Dolomite XL slab tiles and slabs where larger, more continuous stone surfaces are required. Sealing is required.

The White Dolomite Marble Tile Collection is a honed natural marble tile for customers who want a light, refined stone surface with subtle grey movement rather than strong or highly contrasting veining. Each tile measures 305 × 305 × 10mm, creating a balanced square format that works comfortably across both walls and floors.

Its white background and softer grey veining give the material enough character to read as natural stone while keeping the overall palette calm. The honed finish reduces surface reflection compared with polished marble, allowing the stone’s tone and natural variation to remain the main visual feature.

What can you achieve with White Dolomite marble tiles?

The 305 × 305mm square format creates a clear, regular grid across the surface. This makes the collection particularly useful where the layout should feel orderly and proportionate rather than strongly directional.

Across a floor, the repeated square format can create a calm foundation for furniture, cabinetry and other materials. On walls, it provides enough scale for the natural marble movement to remain visible without introducing the stronger rhythm of a metro tile.

White Dolomite also works well where the aim is to create a bright stone-led interior without using a completely uniform white surface. The soft grey veining gives the room more material depth while remaining relatively understated.

Where does White Dolomite work best?

The collection is suitable for interior walls and floors, including bathrooms and kitchens.

In bathrooms, White Dolomite can be used across floors, shower walls, bath surrounds and vanity backdrops. Its light colour works naturally with white sanitaryware, warm oak or walnut vanity units and a wide range of metal finishes.

In kitchens, the tile can create a pale natural-stone floor or selected wall area and can sit comfortably alongside painted cabinetry, warm wood and darker worktops.

The square format also works well in hallways, cloakrooms and wider living spaces where a regular tiled grid and light natural-stone palette are preferred.

Why choose this exact marble tile collection?

White Dolomite is a strong choice when the project calls for pale marble with softer, quieter movement than more dramatically veined stones.

The 305 × 305mm size gives the tile a practical mid-scale format: large enough to show natural variation clearly, but compact enough to work across a wide range of room sizes and layouts.

The honed finish also makes the surface feel softer and less reflective, which can be particularly effective in bathrooms and interiors where the marble should support the wider design rather than dominate it.

Because White Dolomite is natural stone, colour, veining and tone will vary between individual tiles. Samples are useful for understanding the general appearance but cannot represent every piece within an order. Dry laying before fixing allows stronger and quieter tiles to be distributed across the finished surface in a considered way.

Which Starel Stones products complement White Dolomite?

For smaller-scale decorative areas, the White Dolomite Marble Clover Mosaic and White Dolomite Leaf Marble Mosaic are the strongest same-family options. They can introduce more intricate pattern within shower niches, splashbacks and feature sections while keeping the broader white-and-grey stone direction.

For a related but larger-scale surface, the White Dolomite XL Slab Tile 1200 × 600 × 20mm Honed provides a more continuous appearance with fewer joints and can work particularly well where the project needs a stronger architectural scale.

Starel also carries White Dolomite Marble Slabs, which can be considered for suitable vanity tops, splashbacks, fireplaces, feature panels and bespoke stone furniture through Starel Atelier. Exact slabs should be viewed or approved individually where vein movement and tone are important.

Where a complementary pale marble is preferred rather than an exact same-material pairing, Calacatta White can also work alongside White Dolomite, particularly across adjoining surfaces or smaller mosaic details.

These products should be treated as coordinated natural stones rather than guaranteed identical matches.

Before ordering and installation

White Dolomite marble requires sealing. Use stone-compatible adhesive, grout and pH-neutral cleaning products, and confirm the installation requirements for the intended surface.

Order a sample as a guide and dry lay the tiles before fixing. For floors and wet areas, consider the complete installation system, including substrate preparation, fixing, sealing and the intended use of the finished surface.

Yes! All our marble tiles and mosaics are suitable with underfloor heating.

All marble products are suitable for bathroom and shower use. Please seal the product upon installation.

Yes, we highly recommend dry laying your marble tiles before fixing them in place. Marble is a natural stone, and each tile is unique in its veining, tone, and pattern. Unlike man-made tiles, marble pieces are not identical, which is part of their beauty.

Dry laying means arranging all the tiles on the floor before applying adhesive, so you can:

  • Visualise the overall layout
  • Balance colour and pattern variations
  • Ensure the best placement of each tile

Skipping this step can lead to an uneven appearance, as tiles placed at random may clash in tone or pattern. Taking the time to dry lay ensures a more harmonious and professional finish.

Yes. All natural stone products, including marble, limestone, and onyx, require sealing to maintain their appearance and durability.

We recommend sealing the tiles after installation, once the adhesive is fully dry. This protects the marble from grout staining. After grouting, allow the grout to cure, then clean the tiles thoroughly and apply a final coat of stone sealer to protect both the tile and grout.

To keep your surfaces in top condition, reseal every 1–3 years, depending on usage and wear.

We recommend using the grout we supply. These Mapei products are specifically formulated for marble and high-end materials, ensuring the best finish and long-term performance.
We recommend using the adhesive listed below, which we supply. It is specifically suitable for marble, compatible with underfloor heating, and features a rapid setting time, essential, as the adhesive must be fully dry before sealing or grouting.
We recommend using a wet saw with a premium diamond blade.
We strongly advise that you do not book a tiler, plumber or tradespeople before your order arrives and we recommend you receive and check items from us before making any arrangements.
