The Verde Green Marble Tile Collection is a natural marble range for customers who want colour to play a clear role in the interior while retaining the depth and individuality of real stone. Its green palette gives the material a stronger presence than conventional white, grey or beige marble, while natural variation in tone, veining and movement ensures that the finished surface does not feel uniform.

The collection includes a 305 × 75 × 10mm honed metro tile, a 305 × 305 × 10mm honed square and an additional shaped format. This gives you several ways to alter the layout and scale without moving away from the broader Verde Green material direction.

What can you achieve with Verde Green marble tiles?

The main benefit of this collection is its ability to introduce colour through the stone itself rather than through a painted or manufactured surface.

The 305 × 75mm metro format creates a stronger linear rhythm with more visible grout joints, making it particularly well suited to splashbacks, shower walls, niches and smaller feature areas. The 305 × 305mm square creates a more regular grid and gives each tile more room to show its natural variation.

The shaped option can introduce a more geometric treatment where the layout itself is intended to become a stronger part of the design.

Because all current options are honed, the collection retains a consistent, lower-reflection surface character that allows the marble’s colour and movement to provide the visual interest.

Where does Verde Green work best?

The collection is suitable for interior walls and floors, including bathrooms and kitchens, and is compatible with underfloor heating.

In bathrooms, Verde Green can create a distinctive floor, shower wall, vanity backdrop or feature section. Its colour works particularly well where the stone is intended to become a focal material rather than simply provide a neutral background.

In kitchens, it can introduce natural green tones across splashbacks, tiled wall areas or floors and can be balanced with warm oak, walnut, pale cabinetry or lighter stone.

Verde Green also works well in cloakrooms, hallways and living spaces where a smaller area can support a stronger stone colour without requiring the same treatment across the whole room.

Why choose this exact marble tile collection?

Verde Green is a strong choice when the project calls for a more expressive natural stone than pale marble can provide.

Its green colour direction gives the surface a clear identity, while the honed finish keeps the overall appearance relatively restrained and avoids relying on high surface reflection.

The choice of metro, square and shaped formats also makes the collection flexible. You can create a linear wall, a regular tiled grid or a more geometric feature without introducing an unrelated material.

Because this is natural marble, no two tiles will be identical. Tone, veining and pattern will vary between pieces. Samples provide a useful indication of the general material but cannot represent every tile within an order. Dry laying before fixing allows the installer to balance stronger and quieter pieces across the finished surface.

Which Starel Stones products complement Verde Green?

For smaller-scale pattern, the Verde Green Marble Mini Mosaic, Verde Green Marble Flower Mosaic, Verde Green Marble Wave Mosaic and other same-family mosaics provide several ways to introduce the material within niches, splashbacks and feature sections.

Where contrast is preferred, Starel also combines Verde Green with Calacatta White in Rivet, Window, Half Fan and other mixed-marble mosaics, providing a credible route into lighter green-and-white schemes.

For finishing details, Verde Green Marble Skirting can continue the stone through the wall-to-floor junction and create a more resolved perimeter detail.

Where a larger scale is required, the Verde Green Marble XL Slab Tile 1200 × 600 × 20mm Polished provides a more continuous surface with fewer joints. Full Verde Green marble slabs can also extend the material into suitable vanity tops, splashbacks, fireplaces, feature panels and bespoke stone pieces through Starel Atelier.

These products should be treated as coordinated natural stone rather than guaranteed exact matches, particularly where finishes or individual stone selections differ.

Before ordering and installation

Verde Green marble requires sealing. Use stone-compatible adhesive, grout and pH-neutral cleaning products, and confirm the installation requirements for the exact format and application.

Order a sample as a guide and dry lay the tiles before fixing. For floors and wet areas, assess the complete installation system, including substrate preparation, sealing and final finish, before work begins.

Yes! All our marble tiles and mosaics are suitable with underfloor heating.

All marble products are suitable for bathroom and shower use. Please seal the product upon installation.

Yes, we highly recommend dry laying your marble tiles before fixing them in place. Marble is a natural stone, and each tile is unique in its veining, tone, and pattern. Unlike man-made tiles, marble pieces are not identical, which is part of their beauty.

Dry laying means arranging all the tiles on the floor before applying adhesive, so you can:

  • Visualise the overall layout
  • Balance colour and pattern variations
  • Ensure the best placement of each tile

Skipping this step can lead to an uneven appearance, as tiles placed at random may clash in tone or pattern. Taking the time to dry lay ensures a more harmonious and professional finish.

Yes. All natural stone products, including marble, limestone, and onyx, require sealing to maintain their appearance and durability.

We recommend sealing the tiles after installation, once the adhesive is fully dry. This protects the marble from grout staining. After grouting, allow the grout to cure, then clean the tiles thoroughly and apply a final coat of stone sealer to protect both the tile and grout.

To keep your surfaces in top condition, reseal every 1–3 years, depending on usage and wear.

We recommend using the grout we supply. These Mapei products are specifically formulated for marble and high-end materials, ensuring the best finish and long-term performance.
We recommend using the adhesive listed below, which we supply. It is specifically suitable for marble, compatible with underfloor heating, and features a rapid setting time, essential, as the adhesive must be fully dry before sealing or grouting.
We recommend using a wet saw with a premium diamond blade.
We strongly advise that you do not book a tiler, plumber or tradespeople before your order arrives and we recommend you receive and check items from us before making any arrangements.
