The Arabescato Viola Rosa Marble Tile Collection is a natural marble range for customers who want a warmer interpretation of expressive veined stone. Defined by rosé tones with natural variation and contrasting movement, it brings colour into an interior without relying on a flat or manufactured finish. The collection is available in two honed 10mm formats — 200 × 200mm square tiles and 610 × 305mm rectangular tiles — so the same material can be used at two different scales across walls and floors.
What can you achieve with Arabescato Viola Rosa?
This collection is designed to make the marble itself part of the interior scheme. Its rosé-led colouring gives the surface a distinctive identity, while the veining and tonal variation introduce depth and movement from tile to tile.
The 200 × 200mm square format creates a more compact, rhythmic layout with a greater number of grout lines. It can work well in smaller bathrooms, cloakrooms, feature areas or projects where a more detailed geometric surface is preferred. The 610 × 305mm rectangular format creates a calmer, broader layout with fewer joints and more space for the natural marble pattern to read across each tile.
Using the two formats together can also help separate adjoining zones while maintaining the same material direction.
Where does this collection work best?
Arabescato Viola Rosa is suitable for interior walls and floors, including bathrooms and kitchens, and is compatible with underfloor heating.
In bathrooms, it can be used across floors, shower walls, bath surrounds or selected feature sections. The rosé, burgundy and violet-toned movement works especially well where the marble is intended to bring warmth and character rather than sit quietly in the background.
In kitchens, the collection can introduce colour across tiled wall areas or floors and can be balanced with pale cabinetry, warm wood or darker finishes. The larger 610 × 305mm format suits broader surfaces with fewer joints, while the smaller square format creates more pattern and rhythm.
The collection can also work in hallways, dressing areas and living spaces where natural stone is intended to become a visible part of the room’s material palette.
Why choose this exact marble tile collection?
Arabescato Viola Rosa is a strong choice for projects that want expressive marble with a warmer colour direction than conventional white-and-grey stone. The honed finish keeps reflection relatively controlled, allowing the rosé background and deeper veining to provide the visual interest.
The two-format collection also offers a practical choice: use the smaller square tile for a more detailed layout, or the larger rectangle where a quieter, more continuous surface is wanted.
Because this is natural marble, no two tiles will be identical. Tone, veining and movement will vary across the order. Samples are useful for understanding the general colour and finish, but they cannot represent every piece. Dry laying before fixing allows stronger and quieter tiles to be distributed across the surface in a considered way.
Which Starel Stones products complement Arabescato Viola Rosa?
The strongest pairings are the matching Arabescato Viola Rosa trims. The Arabescato Viola Rosa Marble Pencil Liner Trim can create a narrow finishing edge or dividing line within a tiled wall. The Arabescato Viola Rosa Marble Dado Moulding provides a more pronounced decorative transition, while Arabescato Viola Rosa Marble Skirting can complete the base of a tiled wall and connect the surface to the floor.
These products are honed marble and are intended to work with the wider Arabescato Viola Rosa material direction. Natural variation still applies, so they should be treated as coordinated rather than guaranteed identical.
Where a project needs a stronger tonal contrast, Arabescato Viola or Calacatta Viola products can also be considered, but they should be used as complementary materials rather than assumed to be exact matches.
Before ordering and installation
Arabescato Viola Rosa marble requires sealing. Use stone-compatible adhesive, grout and pH-neutral cleaning products, and confirm the installation requirements for the exact format and application.
For floors and wet areas, assess the complete installation system before work begins. Order a sample as a guide and dry lay the tiles before fixing so the natural variation can be balanced across the finished surface.
Yes! All our marble tiles and mosaics are suitable with underfloor heating.
Yes, we highly recommend dry laying your marble tiles before fixing them in place. Marble is a natural stone, and each tile is unique in its veining, tone, and pattern. Unlike man-made tiles, marble pieces are not identical, which is part of their beauty.
Dry laying means arranging all the tiles on the floor before applying adhesive, so you can:
Skipping this step can lead to an uneven appearance, as tiles placed at random may clash in tone or pattern. Taking the time to dry lay ensures a more harmonious and professional finish.
Yes. All natural stone products, including marble, limestone, and onyx, require sealing to maintain their appearance and durability.
We recommend sealing the tiles after installation, once the adhesive is fully dry. This protects the marble from grout staining. After grouting, allow the grout to cure, then clean the tiles thoroughly and apply a final coat of stone sealer to protect both the tile and grout.
To keep your surfaces in top condition, reseal every 1–3 years, depending on usage and wear.
