The Calacatta Monet Green Marble Tile Collection is a honed natural marble range for creating expressive walls and floors with a distinctive green-led stone palette and individual natural movement. Six formats, from compact 150 × 75mm metro tiles to larger 610 × 405mm rectangles, let you control the scale and rhythm of bathrooms, kitchens and wider interiors while keeping one connected material direction. Use smaller formats for detailed layouts or larger tiles for broader surfaces with fewer joints, then extend the scheme with individually selected Calacatta Monet Green marble slabs for bespoke vanity tops, splashbacks and other stone details. Sealing is required.

The Calacatta Monet Green Marble Tile Collection is a honed natural marble range for customers who want green stone to become a considered part of the interior rather than simply provide a neutral background. Its green-led palette and natural movement give every installation an individual character, with variations in tone, veining and pattern from tile to tile.

The collection is available in six 10mm formats: 150 × 75mm, 305 × 75mm, 305 × 305mm, 406 × 406mm, 610 × 305mm and 610 × 405mm. This breadth makes it possible to use the same marble direction across detailed feature areas, regular tiled grids and broader surfaces with fewer joints.

What can you achieve with Calacatta Monet Green?

The different formats give you control over how strongly the tile layout contributes to the finished room.

The 150 × 75mm and 305 × 75mm metro formats create more grout lines and a pronounced linear rhythm. They are particularly useful for splashbacks, shower walls, niches and feature sections where the individual tile proportions should remain visible.

The 305 × 305mm and 406 × 406mm squares create a more balanced geometric grid. For larger surfaces, the 610 × 305mm and 610 × 405mm rectangles reduce the number of joints and give more space for the marble’s natural movement to develop across each tile.

This format range also allows different areas to be defined without introducing an unrelated stone.

Where does Calacatta Monet Green work best?

The collection is suitable for interior walls and floors, including bathrooms and kitchens, and is compatible with underfloor heating.

In bathrooms, Calacatta Monet Green can be used across floors, shower walls, bath surrounds and vanity backdrops. Its green colouring works particularly well with white sanitaryware and warm oak or walnut vanity units, where the natural wood provides a quieter counterpoint to the expressive stone.

In kitchens, it can introduce green natural stone across floors, splashbacks or selected wall areas. Larger formats are particularly useful where a calmer tiled surface is preferred, while metros can give a smaller splashback greater rhythm.

The collection can also work effectively in cloakrooms, hallways and living spaces where the marble is intended to provide visible colour and material character.

Why choose this exact marble tile collection?

Calacatta Monet Green is a strong choice when you want an expressive green marble with genuine flexibility in scale.

Rather than restricting the project to one or two dimensions, six formats allow the material to respond to different room sizes and applications. The honed finish keeps reflection comparatively restrained, helping the natural colour and movement remain the focus rather than surface shine.

Natural variation is fundamental to the appearance of this collection. Individual tiles will differ in colour, tone, veining and movement, so samples should be treated as guides rather than exact matches. Dry laying before fixing allows the installation to be composed thoughtfully and stronger or quieter pieces to be distributed across the surface.

Which Starel Stones products complement Calacatta Monet Green?

The most relevant extension is Calacatta Monet Green marble slabs. Starel currently carries multiple individually listed slabs in honed and polished finishes, allowing the same broader material direction to move from tiled surfaces into suitable vanity tops, splashbacks, fireplaces, furniture and bespoke stone details.

For these larger fabricated elements, exact slab selection is particularly valuable. Customers can assess the full-scale veining, colour and movement of an individual slab rather than expecting a tile or small sample to predict the finished piece.

Calacatta White marble can provide a useful lighter companion where quieter adjoining surfaces are needed, while warm oak or walnut vanity units can balance the stronger green stone with natural wood.

These materials should be treated as complementary rather than guaranteed exact matches.

Before ordering and installation

Calacatta Monet Green marble requires sealing. Use stone-compatible adhesive, grout and pH-neutral cleaning products, and confirm installation requirements for the selected format and application.

Yes! All our marble tiles and mosaics are suitable with underfloor heating.

All marble products are suitable for bathroom and shower use. Please seal the product upon installation.

Yes, we highly recommend dry laying your marble tiles before fixing them in place. Marble is a natural stone, and each tile is unique in its veining, tone, and pattern. Unlike man-made tiles, marble pieces are not identical, which is part of their beauty.

Dry laying means arranging all the tiles on the floor before applying adhesive, so you can:

  • Visualise the overall layout
  • Balance colour and pattern variations
  • Ensure the best placement of each tile

Skipping this step can lead to an uneven appearance, as tiles placed at random may clash in tone or pattern. Taking the time to dry lay ensures a more harmonious and professional finish.

Yes. All natural stone products, including marble, limestone, and onyx, require sealing to maintain their appearance and durability.

We recommend sealing the tiles after installation, once the adhesive is fully dry. This protects the marble from grout staining. After grouting, allow the grout to cure, then clean the tiles thoroughly and apply a final coat of stone sealer to protect both the tile and grout.

To keep your surfaces in top condition, reseal every 1–3 years, depending on usage and wear.

We recommend using the grout we supply. These Mapei products are specifically formulated for marble and high-end materials, ensuring the best finish and long-term performance.
We recommend using the adhesive listed below, which we supply. It is specifically suitable for marble, compatible with underfloor heating, and features a rapid setting time, essential, as the adhesive must be fully dry before sealing or grouting.
We recommend using a wet saw with a premium diamond blade.
We strongly advise that you do not book a tiler, plumber or tradespeople before your order arrives and we recommend you receive and check items from us before making any arrangements.
